How Breakout’s COVID Safe

The health and safety of our staff and guests is a core value to us here at Breakout, so we’re taking a few extra precautions at the moment to keep everyone safe and well.

Here’s quick run through of some of the steps we’ve taken so you know exactly why its still safe to attend Breakout.

  1. Sanitising between Escape Rooms. After every group our resetter not only resets the room but also sanitises high touch surfaces (tables, desks, chairs etc) and commonly handled objects with a santiser made to required specifications.
  2. Pre-room Hand Sanitising. We require every participant to sanitise their hands prior to entering the escape rooms, to assist our sanitising efforts between groups.
  3. Weekly Professional Cleans. Every week Breakout recieves a professional clean from top to bottom throughout the entire venue. This is of course on top of our regular trading night cleaning performed by our staff.
  4. Goodbye Goggles. We’ve temporarily removed our escape rooms goggles from service due as an extra precaution since they come into close contact with your eyes and nose.
  5. Reduced Capacity. In-line with social distancing requirements our escape rooms are now running a maximum of 6 people per room, and 30 in our bar.
  6. COVID Safety Plan. As per NSW Government reguations we have a completed COVID-19 Safety Plan detailing how we’re handling all potential risks and promoting staff awareness.
  7. COVID Hygiene Marshall. At peak trade times we have a designated hygiene marshall who is responsible for ensuring our COVID-19 Safety Plan is being followed, and social distancing requirements are being met.
  8. Hourly Sanitising. In the bar and toilets we’re undertaking hourly sanitising of high touch areas such as doors, handles, taps, etc. whenever we’re trading.

These are just some of the bigger actions we’re taking to help do our part and trade safely, while providing on-going employment for our staff. Of course we wouldn’t be here without your support to begin with and for that we say; thank you.

We hope to see you soon, healthy and well.
