Is It Scary? (FAQ for Nervous People)
Escape Rooms involve darkness and flashing lights, some small spaces, but no 'jump scares'.
All the rooms main sections are comfortably sized for up to 8 people.
You’re never really locked in the room. In the event of a problem or emergency you can exit through a marked door.
Some rooms involve crawling, but it's not required of all participants.
The rooms themed to make them engaging and atmospheric. Some have simulated blood spatters, skulls and bones.

Our minimum age is 12 years old. Under 12’s can wait in the bar area with a responsible adult but are not permitted to participate in the escape rooms.
Yes. As a licensed venue any persons under 18 must always be with a responsible adult. If the kids are under 16 an adult must also be in the escape rooms with them.
A parent/guardian is required for groups under the age of 16, so there’s no extra charge for them.
Your tables are reserved for 2.5hrs, starting 15 minutes prior to your booking time.
Yes, however please bear in mind we do not have a lot of fridge/freezer space. If your cake requires refrigeration or freezing please call ahead to check if we can fit it.
External drinks aren’t allowed due to liquor licensing regulations. Water is provided free of charge, and bottomless post-mix soft drinks are included in all the packages.
You are allowed to bring your own food and cake.
Food and drinks aren’t allowed in the escape rooms, but we will reserve a table for your group to enjoy them afterwards. Food and drinks are allowed in the karaoke rooms.
The bottomless soft drink runs for 1hr in the Budget and Premium packages, and 1.5hrs in the Ultimate.
It begins at the end of the escape room/s.
Absolutely. We’ll just need to hold a card at the bar.
Due to Kneading Ruby’s opening hours catering is not always available, so our times reflect this.
Due to our liquor license minors are not permitted anywhere on the premises after 6pm. Our availability reflects this.
Upon arrival ~15 minutes before your booking time we’ll get you checked in and waivers sorted. At the booking time we’ll grab the kids and brief them before their escape room begins. After the room you’ll have the table for 1hr for drinks, food and cake before we need to clean up for the next bookings. If you’ve booked an Ultimate party you’ll go into your karaoke room.
You get 1 escape room per 8 kids. For 9 or more you’ll need to select 2 escape rooms.
Due to our scheduling all rooms run on their own times. We recommend selecting rooms that are 15 minutes apart. If we don’t have bookings prior we may be able to begin both at the same time.
Not until the day! We sort out your catering and final payment then. If you have 2 rooms booked however and drop numbers to 8 or less please contact us so we can ammend your booking to one room, and open the other for bookings again.
